地元の海岸などで清掃活動をしている団体と共に、ビーチクリーン活動を行っている布村萌葉さん。布村さんの通う高校では自治体などと連携して、さまざまなSDGsに取り組んでいます。そのひとつがビーチクリーン活動で集めたマイクロプラスチックを加工したアクセサリー作り。このアクセサリーを対面販売し、海の現状を直接自分の言葉で伝えることで、一人ひとりが環境問題に関心を持つようになればと語る布村さんの思い描く未来とは？

Ms. Tomoha Nunomura is cleaning beaches with a group that is cleaning the local coastline. The high school, that Ms. Nunomura attends, is involved in various SDGs in conjunction with the local government. One of those activities is making accessories out of microplastic collected while cleaning the beaches. Ms. Nunomura sells these accessories in person and says she hopes that by directly explaining the current state of the ocean in her own words, people will become more interested in environmental issues. What kind of future does she envision?
